DWS Group in Madrid is seeking a QA Automation Engineer – Associate to join the Investment Risk IT team. You’ll blend manual testing with automation, collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to ensure quality across frontend, API and database layers.

You’ll design and implement automated tests with Serenity BDD, Cucumber and Gatling, integrate into Jenkins CI/CD, and help improve testing practices. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus; ISTQB certification a bonus.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on QA with strong testing and automation experience.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Serenity BDD, Cucumber and Gatling.
• Hands-on with Git, Jenkins, Gradle; RESTful APIs testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; strong collaboration skills.
• ISTQB certification is a plus; English fluency required; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute meaningful manual test cases across frontend, API and database layers.
• Create clear test evidence and execution reporting in Allure.
• Work with developers, business analysts, product owners and QA colleagues to build quality into delivery.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Serenity BDD, Cucumber and Gatling.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins.
• Contribute to performance, load and stress testing where needed.
• Participate in reviews of test code and team practices.
• Analyze test results and quality metrics to improve coverage and decisions.
• Suggest improvements to QA approach and tooling.
