DWS Group is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join the Investment Risk IT team in Madrid. The role blends thoughtful manual testing with pragmatic test automation, collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to raise quality from the start.

You will design and execute test cases across frontend, API, and database layers, and contribute to automation with Serenity BDD, Cucumber, and Gatling, while integrating tests into Jenkins for continuous delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on quality assurance experience with manual testing and automation.
• 3+ years of test automation experience in complex enterprise applications.
• Experience with Serenity BDD, Cucumber and Gatling, or willingness to deepen expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, and Gradle; RESTful API testing.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments; strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute meaningful manual test cases across frontend, API and database layers.
• Create clear, traceable test evidence and execution reporting in Allure.
• Work with developers, BAs, product owners and QA colleagues to understand requirements early.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Serenity BDD and Cucumber.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for continuous testing.
• Contribute to performance, load and stress testing where needed.
• Participate in reviews of test code and team practices; share feedback constructively.
• Analyze test results and defects to improve coverage and decisions.
• Suggest improvements to QA approach, automation strategy, tooling and ways of working.
