Descripción de la vacante

Athento is seeking a QA Automation engineer to lead efforts ensuring product quality. You will collaborate with product engineers to design and automate testing strategies, increasing test coverage and implementing automated tools for back and front testing.

You will define QA policy for new releases, develop libraries and frameworks for automation, and participate in test design discussions and code reviews with the product team. Strong English and OO programming skills are essential.

Formación

• At least 5 years of demonstrable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with automated tests types: unit, sanity, performance, security, load/stress.
• Experience writing automated tests, preferably in Python.
• Experience with Scrum and other agile methodologies.
• Unit testing experience.
• Ability to read and understand texts in English.
• Object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with PEP 8.

Start developing small features, changes in the code and other small task so you get started and gain knowledge on our product and its structure. Code unit tests for these small features.

Lead the QA process

By now we expect you to feel comfortable with the project structure, modules and libraries as well as with the current tests tools used. From here on, we want you to guide us in the design of our software QA system.
