Position : Business Partner - Global Commercialization of Data and Platforms

Location : Flexible across any Eli Lilly Affiliate Location (No Relocation Assistance)

Reporting to : Associate Director GCDP (Based in Spain)

The Global Commercialization of Data & Platforms Business Partners serve as the primary link between GCDP Teams and local Affiliate Stakeholders across all geographies and business units. Key stakeholders include Hub / IBU Leadership teams (e.g., CMO & COO), Marketing, Sales, Medical, E&C, and IDS. Engagement varies from strategic (e.g., product launches) to operational based on needs. The team must understand and represent GCDP priorities, demonstrate knowledge of platforms (e.g., Veeva, GCCP, Vault), domains (Customer, Activity, Material, & Alignment), and related services / processes (shared services, incentives, IDS, affiliate) to stakeholders, and relay stakeholder views back to GCDP. Building trust through sharing best practices, acting as a single point of contact, shielding questions from GCDP SMEs, and participating in projects is essential. The role involves a specific geographic focus with a global outlook, adaptable to evolving business needs. Applications are welcome from any location worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Integration and Partnership

Proactively partner with affiliate stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and minimizing surprises.

  • Champion stakeholder needs, influence strategic capabilities within GCDP, and help solve problems using global SME knowledge.
  • Drive innovation, identify opportunities for new solutions, and facilitate activities that demonstrate tangible business benefits.
  • Ensure commitment and deliverables for services, promote global prioritization, and align local and global perspectives.
  • Think end-to-end, consider external customer impacts, lead analysis and project delivery, participate in governance, manage risks, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Collaborate with GCDP, GCS, and IDS organizations.

  • Work efficiently as part of a virtual Global Customer Operations team, promoting process optimization and knowledge sharing.
