Our products serve mainly in the industrial sector, providing high-value services for process monitoring, reducing carbon footprint, enhancing safety, and optimizing operations. SENSIA operates in over 15 countries, with the USA as the primary market, and is experiencing significant growth and technological innovation for the next decade.

To support our expansion, we seek to strengthen our Core Quality & Calibration Team with an experienced software developer specialized in scientific or instrumentation environments. A background in applied physics, optics, or collaboration with technical teams is preferred. Strong Python skills and a good understanding of measurement systems, sensors, and test automation are essential, though an academic background in physics is not mandatory if relevant practical experience is demonstrated.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement optical and radiometric characterization procedures for sensors and cameras.
2. Develop Python tools for data acquisition, analysis, and visualization.
3. Create graphical user interfaces using Python frameworks such as PyQt, PySide, Kivy.
4. Automate test benches and integrate scientific equipment via GPIB, USB, RS232, Ethernet.
5. Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to validate systems.
6. Document results and prepare validation reports.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Physics, Electronics, Telecommunications, or similar.
• Advanced Python programming skills, including libraries like NumPy, SciPy, pandas, Matplotlib, OpenCV, PyVISA.
• Experience processing data from C++ APIs, handling real-time data via sockets, exporting results.
• Proficient in developing scientific software for test automation and data analysis.
• Strong command of technical English.
• Valued: Master’s or PhD in Optics, Photonics, or related fields; experience with infrared imaging, radiometric modeling, hardware/software integration, and instrumentation control.

Soft Skills & Languages:

• Problem solving, teamwork, proactive, responsible, organized.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
