What we look for?

We are looking for a Senior Python web developer, specialized in Data ingestion, who will contribute to a project with one of our global customers, a British multinational asset management company. High English level is required.

100% remote position for people located in Spain.

• Maintain and develop new features for a reporting web application built with Python and React.
• Maintain and develop new features for a REST API service built with Python.
• Participate in the data ingestion processes using Python and SQL.
• Work closely with the analyst, test, and support teams to understand and deliver the requirements.
• Support the full project lifecycle through to implementation and production support.
• Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on data (pandas, numpy).
• Strong proficiency in Python API frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with Docker and Linux.
• Ability to write SQL queries to interrogate and extract data from a SQL database.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good all-round technical knowledge to help find the best solution to a requirement.
• Able to engage with stakeholders in both Business and Technology.
• English at least C1.
• Familiar with C#.
• Familiar with AWS.
• Familiar with MATLAB.
• Airflow orchestration.
• Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and algorithms.
• Multi-disciplined and able to provide support throughout SDLC.
• Capable of balancing timely delivery against strategic development.
