SEK Catalunya International School busca un/a Profesor/a de Artes Visuales para un puesto de sustitución inmediato dentro del equipo académico. Se valorará experiencia en entornos IB y compromiso con la educación de calidad.

La función implica planificar y entregar lecciones de artes alineadas con el PYP, fomentar la creatividad y evaluar el progreso de los estudiantes, colaborando con docentes para experiencias transdisciplinarias.

  SEK Catalunya International School is looking for a PYP Arts Teacher to join its academic team for an immediate replacement position.

  Mission: The PYP Art Teacher inspires students to explore, create, and express themselves through the visual arts within an inquiry-based learning environment. The role fosters creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills while encouraging students to make meaningful connections between art, culture, and the world around them.

  Functions: Plan and deliver engaging visual arts lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme and school curriculum. Foster creativity, self-expression, and inquiry through a variety of artistic techniques, media, and processes. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support artistic and personal growth. Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop meaningful transdisciplinary learning experiences and connections. Create an inclusive and inspiring learning environment that promotes student agency, reflection, and appreciation of diverse cultures and artistic perspectives.

  Skills: Pedagogical Competencies Plan and deliver engaging and effective art lessons aligned with the PYP framework. Adapt teaching strategies and artistic activities to meet the diverse needs of students. Use a variety of artistic techniques, resources, and learning experiences to foster creativity and inquiry. Assess student learning and artistic development, providing constructive and meaningful feedback.

  Interpersonal Competencies Inspire and motivate students to explore, create, and express themselves through the arts. Create an inclusive, safe, and collaborative learning environment that values all learners. Communicate clearly and effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Build positive and trusting relationships with students and the wider school community.

  Teamwork Demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with colleagues by sharing ideas, expertise, and resources, contributing to transdisciplinary learning and the achievement of common educational goals.

  AI Familiarity with generative AI platforms (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Express AI) is desirable. Commitment to the ethical and responsible use of AI in accordance with school and IB guidelines.
