SEK Catalunya International School is seeking a PYP Teacher for a temporary position starting 27 August 2026 in the Barcelona area. You will develop and implement transdisciplinary units and participate in collaborative planning while communicating student progress to families.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Primary Education, PYP experience, and native English proficiency; Spanish or Catalan language skills are valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching, preferably within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Native English speaker or native speaker level.
• Spanish and/or Catalan will be valued.
• Experience with educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement teaching plans for transdisciplinary units.

• Take part in standardizing assessment tasks.
• Contribute to curriculum research and improvement.
• Stay updated on the PYP Scope and Sequence.

Key Responsibilities

What We Offer

• Temporary contract.

• Start date: 27 August 2026.

• Working schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 5:10 p.m.

  • Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• Salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
