Perfetti Van Melle’s Chupa Chups unit in Catalonia is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure equipment reliability and operational excellence through planning, coordination and continuous improvement of maintenance activities. Reporting to the Line Lead, you will lead maintenance planning and coordinate preventive and corrective interventions.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, 3–5 years in maintenance or manufacturing, experience with SAP

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability or industrial environments.
• Experience in roles such as Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Planner or Production Shift Leader.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems.
• Experience with SAP Maintenance or CMMS systems is highly valued.
• Knowledge of AM/PM and reliability improvement practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling activities to ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyze downtime and equipment losses, implementing actions to improve performance.
• Ensure maintenance documentation and technical standards are up to date.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and HSE teams.
• Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and Progressive Maintenance (PM) initiatives.
• Promote safety, quality and operational excellence across the production area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, reliability or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Previous experience in roles such as Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Planner or Production Shift Leader.Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling systems.
• Experience working with SAP Maintenance or similar CMMS systems is highly valued.
• Knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Progressive Maintenance (PM) and reliability improvement practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop others.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Own vehicle required to commute to Chupa Chups.
