Introduction to the Vacant Position

The purchasing department is part of the Finance Unit at IBEC and manages all items (goods and services) needed under the Public Sector Contract Law (LCSP 9 / 2017).

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage purchases for all research groups.
  • Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle customs clearance, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Register incoming invoices.
  • Analyze purchase data from ERP systems.

Candidate Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Higher Vocational Training in Administration and Management – Advanced Level in Administration and Finance.
  • Experience with SAP (Business One) or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (high/intermediate); basic Catalan preferred.
