Formación

AGS has the experience, technology, and commitment to bring change to an industry under increasing pressure to reduce its carbon footprint and valorize residual wastes.

As Purchasing Manager Europe, based in France, you will play a key role in defining and implementing our company's purchasing strategy in this strategic region. Your responsibilities include managing supplier relations, optimizing costs, and ensuring compliance with procurement processes.

Your main responsibilities :
  1. Definition of purchasing strategy
  • Maintain an economic and technological watch to stay updated on market developments.
  • Understand the company's overall strategy and objectives, then implement purchasing policies concerning cost, quality, and volume.
  • Analyze the needs of business departments and translate them into clear objectives.
  • Negotiation
    • Monitor ongoing negotiations and tenders.
    • Lead negotiations for key product or service categories.
    • Finalize supplier selections and draft or approve contracts with Legal Department support.
  • Sourcing supervision and supplier evaluation
    • Audit and optimize the supplier panel.
    • Develop and implement supplier referencing and rating systems.
    • Automate tender processes and integrate them into SRM projects.
    • Ensure contractual conditions are met and handle disputes with supplier support.
  • Communication and reporting
    • Monitor budgets and report to relevant departments.
    • Promote communication between purchasing and business units.
    • Analyze market trends impacting purchasing conditions.
    Your profile :
    • BAC+5 in purchasing management, international trade, or equivalent.
    • 5-10 years of experience in a similar international role.
    Technical skills :
    • Expertise in product portfolio and production constraints.
    • Knowledge of import/export procedures, negotiation, legal constraints, and IT tools.
    • Proficiency in e-sourcing, supply chain, and quality procedures.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
