Public Relations and Communication Manager Plant Biotechnology and Genomics Center (CBGP)

Support for communication actions and events organized by CBGP (including workshop, seminar programs) to foster national / international visibility of CBGP.

Coordination of dissemination and outreach activities of CBGP (Science Week, European Research Nights, etc.).

Management of CBGP social media accounts (Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram).

Management and regular updating of the website: articles, information, events, job offers portal, etc.

Preparation of press releases and contacts with the media.

Coordination with Communications Officers / Managers of institutions UPM and INIA / CSIC.

ACADEMIC FORMATION:

Bachelor / Master of PhD in Science, Journalism, Communication or related qualifications.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

1. Experience in communication management in research centers / institutes or R&I institutions will be valued.
2. Specialization in scientific communication will be valued, as well as knowledge of the field of scientific research.
3. Experience in organization of outreach events.
4. Experience using content management systems CMS Drupal 8 or higher.
5. Knowledge and experience in the use of common office packages, image editing and other support tools in the generation of graphic materials, videoconference management tools, digital communication and social network management tools, etc.

JOB POSITION CONDITIONS:

Salary: 15,000-20,000 euros / year based on experience.

Part-time contract.

Indefinite contract.

Social Security (public health system).
