With multiple logistics partners on board, we’re now stepping up our fundraising and R&D strategy to focus even more on non-dilutive public funding.
Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Public Funding & Grant Application Lead to join our team on a part-time basis (30–40 hours/month). Your mission: identify relevant funding opportunities, coordinate strong applications, and help us build partnerships and consortia that accelerate the development of our technology. You’ll work alongside our CEO and technical team, support external consultants, and ensure each proposal meets the highest standards in both form and content.
What You’ll DoIdentify and evaluate public funding opportunities, primarily across Spain and the EU.Coordinate the end-to-end application process, including proposal structuring, documentation, deadlines, and stakeholder inputs.Collaborate with external grant consultancies while ensuring our internal strategy and content is accurately reflected.Assist in consortium building, either by connecting with active initiatives or helping us form new partnerships.Maintain a clear funding calendar and ensure timely submissions aligned with our technology roadmap and development goals.
QualificationsMust-Have:Proven experience writing or managing public funding proposals, ideally in aerospace, robotics, or deep tech R&D (TRL 2–5).Familiarity with key funding programs such as CDTI, Horizon Europe, Eurostars, SESAR, or similar.Ability to lead and organize application processes independently, including managing multiple stakeholders.Strong communication skills and comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams.Experience interacting with consultancies, agencies, and innovation platforms.
Nice-to-Have:Active connections to clusters, innovation hubs, consortium networks, or public institutions.Prior involvement in building or joining collaborative R&D consortia.Technical background or sector experience in aerospace, logistics, or automated systems.Strategic mindset, with an ability to shape mid-term funding roadmaps for startups.
