The Opportunity

Are you a seasoned Public Affairs professional eager to drive change and forge impactful partnerships within a cutting-edge, innovative company leading the way in groundbreaking technology? We’re looking for an experienced Public Affairs Manager to expand our client’s influence and amplify their voice across Europe. You’ll deliver high-impact public affairs programmes, track policy developments, manage stakeholder relationships, and lead compelling policy communications.

As a key representative at strategic meetings and events, you’ll build influential partnerships that drive meaningful change. This role suits a proactive, collaborative, and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and deliver the European public affairs strategy, working closely with US colleagues.
  • Organise and lead key stakeholder engagement meetings and represent the company at strategic events.
  • Collaborate with external consultants to manage government relations in Europe and the US.
  • Ensure consistent messaging when engaging stakeholders, working closely with internal teams.
  • Manage media relations on policy matters and build strong connections with relevant media.
  • Organise internal events and coordinate the company’s participation in third-party conferences, focusing on strategic stakeholder engagement.

About You:

  • Essential: 5+ years’ experience in public affairs within agriculture, Ag Tech, or ESG.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful public affairs programmes.
  • Strong understanding of the European (and ideally Spanish) policy landscape and key stakeholders.
  • Well-connected with a robust network across government, industry, and NGOs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with policy communications expertise.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • Driven, collaborative, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed.

Desirable: Proficiency in Norwegian.
