The North Face is looking for an exceptional PSS Manager to join our Team based in Barcelona, Spain.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as PSS Manager will be responsible for the central operational elements of New and Existing Partnership Stores. Specifically, the development, implementation and communication of processes, plans and briefings that will assist the country teams to operate and develop their PSS business.

It drives The North Face operational development of Partnership stores and ensures organic growth is delivered from existing stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and communicates operational concepts and procedures.
  • Meets with other Retail departments (O+O and PSS) to ensure a seamless integration of processes and sharing of best practices.
  • Build store P&L from scratch and manage store budget preparation (both qualitative and quantitative) based on financial parameters.
  • Assists in compiling the market strategy for PSS development and supports country teams in evaluating and recruiting new Partners.
  • Liaises with buying groups and mall operators to educate on our requirement for new locations.
  • Works with Construction, Visual Merchandising and Marketing Department to ensure new store openings are delivered.
  • Co-ordinates VF approval process and contract issuing with Legal Department.
  • Provides forecasts, budgets and estimates for PSS stakeholders (e.g. Ops, DC, Returns etc.).
  • Manages the Partners Store Communication process with stakeholders, including store layout guidelines, window directives, seasonal Training Materials.
  • Develops TNF Store product assortments for various store types on a seasonal basis to ensure TNF Brand Strategies and Category Drivers are achieved.
  • Ensures execution through managing local Partnership Stores Coordinators and Partnership responsible teams in minor countries / markets.
  • Distributes retail training in product knowledge, selling concepts etc.
  • Analyzes and Utilizes data to improve Partnership Stores’ performance and KPI’s.
  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with all levels of the country teams and business partners to ensure maximum operational efficiency and alignment.

Skills for Success

  • Ability to effectively plan, organize and manage project timeline.
  • Ability to make decisions independently with limited direction and visibility.
  • Develops collaborative and diverse relationships both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Excel with advanced skills in building financial models and data analysis. Ability to create tools, dashboards, and reports autonomously.
  • Strong understanding of financial parameters and budgeting processes.
  • Experience in managing franchising partnerships, particularly in the Sportswear industry in Spain and Portugal.
  • English fluency and one other European language desirable.
