Job summary

gevernova in Zamudio, Spain seeks a Technical Leader to drive technical leadership and governance of Protection & Control projects through the full lifecycle. You will be the primary technical authority, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, the technical solution, engineering execution, testing and delivery.

Responsibilities include leading technical kickoff and scope alignment, reviewing specifications, defining the technical baseline, coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar.
• Solid experience in Protection & Control or substation automation.
• Strong understanding of substation solutions and integration concepts.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical kick-off, technical clarification and scope alignment with customer requirements.
• Own the review of technical specifications versus the offered solution and define the technical baseline.
• Define and approve the main technical solution, including architecture, schematics, system and IED configuration.
• Execute internal technical documentation plan and engineering schedule for the project.
• Coordinate engineering execution across disciplines and subcontractors.
• Define and document pre-FAT and FAT protocols and validation criteria.
• Track customer and internal technical inputs and deliverables.
• Lead technical quality discussions and escalation of risks affecting delivery.
• Coordinate FAT/SAT handover and technical transfer to Field Service.
