Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Principal Protection & Control Engineer to join our Power Transmission and Distribution team in Spain. The role covers mentoring a high-performing team, leading fault studies, protection settings, relay configurations, and client engagements on international projects.
The successful candidate will be degree-qualified, with extensive P&C experience, knowledge of IEC61850, and a track record working to UK/Grid practices, with a hybrid working policy and
Formación
- Degree-level qualification in electrical engineering or related field.
- Extensive Protection and Control experience with relay design.
- Knowledge of IEC61850 protocol and international grid practices.
- Experience on international projects and familiarity with UK National Grid TP141 is desirable.
- Strong communications skills and ability to coordinate with clients and teams.
Responsabilidades
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Lead protection and control scheme development for transmission projects.
- Produce tender specifications for Protection and Control.
- Carry out fault studies and set protection settings.
- Check design drawings and advise on commissioning stages.
