Mott MacDonald in Madrid, Seville and Barcelona is seeking a Senior Principal Protection & Control Engineer to join our expanding Power Transmission and Distribution team.

You will mentor a high-performing team, develop innovative protection schemes for large-scale transmission projects, and ensure secure electricity supply while integrating renewable sources. The role spans international projects and requires strong leadership and communication skills.

Formación

• Qualified to degree level and will ideally be, or working towards Chartered Engineer status
• Knowledge of relay designs and have experience of UK practices as well as experience of working on international projects
• Excellent communications skills
• UK Transmission & Distribution experience
• Extensive Protection and Control experience in an Electrical Engineering role

Responsabilidades

• Develop protection schemes for large power transmission projects
• Mentor and lead a high-performing team within the Power Transmission and Distribution group
• Collaborate on client transmission and distribution installations and feasibility studies
• Configure protection settings and support commissioning activities
• Prepare design drawings, specifications, and tender documents
