A leading company in renewable energy is seeking a Sales Specialist / Proposal Engineer for its Madrid office. This role focuses on business development and proposal management within renewable energy technologies. Due to our growth and expansion, we need to incorporate a Sales Specialist in Renewable Energy / Proposal Engineer for our Technical Consulting Division.
Reporting directly to the BD Director, your mission will be to support on Business Development activities of the Consulting and Engineering Business Unit (BU), focused on Renewable Energy Technologies.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist in Renewable Energy / Proposal Engineer to join our Technical Consulting team in the Renewable Energy sector. The successful candidate will report directly to the BD Director and will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting the growth of our consulting services. This role requires a strong technical background in renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Functions and responsibilities :
o Identify new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including wind, solar, and energy storage.
o Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry organizations.
o Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to support strategic decision-making.
o Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for renewable energy consulting projects.
o Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical inputs and ensure proposals align with client requirements.
o Manage the proposal process from initial inquiry to final submission, ensuring high-quality and competitive offers.
o Assist in developing technical reports, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments for renewable energy projects.
o Support project teams in defining technical scopes and optimizing solutions for clients.
o Provide technical guidance on renewable energy technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
o Work closely with other Business Units and OCA Global affiliates in Europe, Latam, Africa, Middle East, and Asia to align business development strategies.
o Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations to secure new projects.
o Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
