The BC3-Basque Centre for Climate Change is a Research Centre based in Leioa which aims to contribute to long term research on the causes and consequences of climate change in order to foster the creation of knowledge in this multidisciplinary science. This center is part of the network of BERCs - Basque Excellence Research Centers supported by the Basque Government.

BC3 seeks to be a world-class climate change research center aimed at informing decision-making at the Basque, Spanish, and International level by integrating natural and social sciences to address the socio-economic implications of global climate change.

Projects Office – Management Administrator

The candidate will work in BC3’s Project Office providing administration support to the project proposal submission, follow up, reporting and auditing activity.

Functions:

  • Support to Project Office in projects proposal, follow up and reporting:
  • Support to financial and activity reports: preparation of data sheets, management of documentation, archives and update of different grants registries
  • Assistance to the auditing process: support in the preparation of all necessary documentation
  • Trip management, expenditure registry and review, invoicing, cost and time control following the specific policies of the Centre…
  • Signature collection and archive of different documents
  • Document Management related to public and private funding.
  • Support on Communication & Knowledge Transfer activities, if needed.

Experience/skills required:

  • Professional Training (FP)/ Degree in Administration and Finances
  • Advanced Office software knowledge
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, Basque and Spanish
  • Flexibility to adapt to new procedures/policies
  • Orderly and accuracy at work
  • Initiative, prudence and ability to adapt to changes
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • High organizational and time management skills to meet objectives on time
  • Team work and Positive attitude
  • Problem solving

Experience/skills desired:

  • Experience using ERP tools
  • Excel proficiency will be highly valued
  • Knowledge of other languages
  • Previous experience in similar activities

Closing date: 30 of April 2025.

Envisaged starting date: Early June 2025.

The job position involves an immediate incorporation, and a competitive salary in accordance with the level and responsibility of the position.
