Project Technical Lead
Purpose of Role
We are looking for a candidate with semiconductor experience. You will work closely with the Project Manager and the Bid Lead, responsible for setting the project technical delivery philosophy to enable efficient and successful project execution of agreed technical requirements while supporting the project schedule and budget.
- Ensure a strong technical systems engineering approach delivering against the engineering project delivery process.
- Ensure all technical teams deliver the agreed technical requirements, timeline, quality, and communicate effectively, safeguarding the technical lifecycle from risks and issues, aiming for first-time silicon.
- Support and initiate technical discussions and reviews with customers/internal teams on project requirements, execution, and milestone signoff.
Responsibilities

- Cascade project goals and schedules to the engineering team.
- Manage risks and changes, escalate new technical risks and opportunities.
- Manage inter-functional team interfaces to ensure alignment on deliverables, quality, and schedule.
- Drive managers and engineers to execute tasks with required quality and schedules.
- Manage day-to-day task assignment and prioritization for project engineers.
- Communicate clearly and competently, demonstrating issue resolution and delivery to expectations.
- Take ownership of tasks and participate in strategic goals.
- Work with the Project Manager to identify resource needs, risks, issues, and solutions, and recommend priorities.
- Make and enforce technical decisions within the assigned discipline.
- Lead by example, encouraging best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in creating and updating project plans.
- Track and report progress versus plan.
Skills & Experience
- Experience leading SoC and ASIC projects across multiple disciplines (Architecture, Front-end Design, Physical Design, Verification & DfT).
- Ability to report on issues, risks, and KPIs confidently.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to coach others.
