Job summary

Lear seeks a Project Quality Engineer - Customer Liaison for the Electronics Campus in Madrid. You will act as the main contact between customers and internal teams, leading investigations of complaints and driving corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and suppliers, support customer visits and audits, and monitor action plans to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Electronics and/or Automotive industry.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate customer complaints and drive containment, corrective and preventive actions.
• Reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues to identify root causes and define solutions.
• Coordinate investigations with internal experts, labs, and suppliers when required.
• Ensure containment actions are implemented quickly to protect customers and operations.
• Prepare, review, and present Failure Analysis Reports and 8D reports to customers.
• Act as the primary quality liaison between customers and internal teams.
• Support customer visits, audits, and technical discussions related to quality concerns.
• Monitor progress of corrective action plans and ensure timely closure.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Lead task forces and escalation activities for high-impact quality incidents.

Education

Job Description

As a Project Quality Engineer - Customer Liaison, you will serve as the key point of contact between customers and internal teams for quality-related matters. You will lead investigations of customer complaints, drive effective corrective and preventive actions, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution of quality issues. This role supports the Electronics Campus in Valls and works closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and supplier teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate customer complaints and drive effective containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
• Reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues to identify root causes and define sustainable solutions.
• Coordinate investigations with internal experts, external laboratories, and suppliers when required.
• Ensure containment actions are implemented quickly to protect customers and business operations.
• Prepare, review, and present Failure Analysis Reports and 8D reports to customers.
• Act as the primary quality liaison between customers and internal manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
• Support customer visits, audits, and technical discussions related to quality concerns.
• Monitor the progress of corrective action plans and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead task forces and escalation activities for critical customer issues and high-impact quality incidents.

Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the Electronics and/or Automotive industry.
• Experience using quality methodologies and problem-solving tools, including 8D.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
