An innovative company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to oversee OE projects in Spain and the Netherlands. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to manage OE projects (Industrial OE and Rail OE) from a quality perspective for our locations in Spain and the Netherlands, working closely with our Polish site. The ideal candidate will collaborate with international project teams to ensure that all quality standards and customer requirements are met.
What are we looking for?
Manage OE projects (Industrial OE and Rail OE) from a quality standpoint for Spanish and Netherlands locations, in close cooperation with the Polish site.
Work collaboratively with international project teams, including Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Sales.
Review customer specifications and requirements, communicating them effectively to suppliers, project teams, and local quality teams.
Prepare and collect PPAP documentation and other customer-requested documents, ensuring timely submission to customers.
Ensure all required quality documentation is received from suppliers.
Develop inspection criteria for new products based on customer requirements and communicate this information to local quality teams.
Perform dimensional and visual inspections on incoming components or final products when required.
Assist in the development of new and existing suppliers, ensuring adherence to the formal supplier approval process according to NRF procedures.
Communicate NRF quality requirements to suppliers.
Manage supplier non-conformance processes, including raising NCR reports and working closely with suppliers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
What do you bring?
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Technical or Engineering education background.
Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification is an advantage.
Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of PPAP documentation (Control Plan, FMEA, Flow Chart, etc.).
Understanding of quality tools such as 8D and Ishikawa.
General knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
Experience in the manufacturing industry (railway or automotive experience is a plus).
Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
Knowledge of RAMS / LCC is an advantage.
Experience in product inspection.
Experience with FARO ARM is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
