About Track Division: Técnicas Reunidas has a strategic focus on a low-carbon economy through its 'Track' division, which operates in four verticals: hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, and methane. The division is built on three pillars: project delivery, asset decarbonization, and new industries, managed within a dedicated business unit.

Role Overview: We seek a proactive and innovative Project Origination Associate to join our team focused on low-carbon projects in Europe. The role involves identifying new project opportunities, understanding industry and market dynamics, and building a project development portfolio in hydrogen, biofuels, e-fuels, and carbon capture sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overall Responsibilities: Search and assess potential leads, map ongoing projects, assist in strategic planning, analyze business cases, coordinate with engineering teams, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, develop case studies, and stay informed on market trends.
2. Technological Expertise: Keep updated on low-carbon technologies and related analyses.
3. Business Knowledge: Understand project financials, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
4. Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, attend industry events, and build key relationships.
5. Communication: Explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, prepare reports, and mentor team members.

Skills & Character: Strategic thinking, analytical skills, negotiation skills, financial acumen, and change management abilities.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years in energy project origination or advisory, with a proven portfolio
• Strong leadership, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, fluency in English, German is a plus, willingness to travel (~75%), excellent communication skills
