Overview

The University of Hong Kong

Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant I/II) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (2 posts). The appointees will take part in research and evaluation-related administrative tasks in the research team of the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project (www.JCECC.hk).

Duties And Responsibilities
  • data collection, data analysis and preparing manuscripts for publication
  • liaise with NGOs and relevant stakeholders
  • occasionally provide administrative support in professional training and public education events in EoLC
  • perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • a Bachelor’s degree or above
  • a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese/Cantonese
  • good analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in using software applications such as Excel and R/SPSS are preferred
What We Offer

The appointments will commence from as soon as possible on temporary basis until June 30, 2027, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

Those with higher qualifications and more experience may considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.
