Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your material management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

You’ll represent operations within the project team, industrialize projects by ensuring all materials are delivered in an optimized manner to the customer (internal and/or external to Alstom) in the best QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) interests for D&IS and projects. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with engineering and industrial teams, ensure the proper setup of the Project Industrialization process, and manage related deliverables in QCD, among other responsibilities.

You’ll specifically monitor technical data for procurement, define the industrial scheme, and develop related make-or-buy strategies.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Review all direct purchase requirements and ensure accurate entry of product data into SAP.
  • Enter project material requirements in SAP (Project Builder), arrange for timely requisition releases, obtain quotes as necessary, and expedite deliveries to meet QCD commitments.
  • Manage shipments of materials to installation sites.
  • Oversee all Supply Chain Work Package activities in line with QCD commitments.
  • Minimize CONQ (Cost of Non-Quality) within the Work Package domain.
  • Establish, track, and report on QCD of work within the Work Package domain.
All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. You don’t need to have every skill listed, but the following will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • University Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, sourcing, engineering, or quality.
  • Interest in technical fields.
  • Previous managerial experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of costing, scheduling, and supplier management.
  • SAP proficiency.
  • High proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • French language skills are recommended but not mandatory.
