Project Manager - IT Projects in the Financial Industry
Location: Madrid

Type: Full-time, no visa sponsorship
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and deliver IT projects within the financial industry. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in project execution, strong analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of the technological and regulatory environment in banking and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects for clients in the financial sector.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Translate customer needs into actionable project plans and technical deliverables.
- Analyze data and project performance metrics to optimize delivery and identify areas for improvement.
- Produce clear, concise reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business, Engineering).
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing IT projects, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, processes, and implementations in regulated environments.
- Ability to connect technology solutions with client business needs and strategic goals.
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills; able to interpret complex information effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across technical and business teams.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience preparing detailed documentation, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Experience in Anti-Money Laundering projects or compliance environments is a strong advantage.
