iPronics is seeking a Temporary Project Manager to lead the SAGE ERP Implementation in Valencia. You will plan, coordinate and drive all project activities for the ERP deployment, consolidating requirements and managing scope, risks, and validation with stakeholders.

You will coordinate with the ERP vendor, partners and internal teams to ensure go-live readiness and a smooth transition to operations, while reporting progress to senior leadership. The role is fixed-term (12–18 months) in Valencia.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in project management roles.
• Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects (SAGE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional business transformation projects.

Are you ready to lead a company-wide digital transformation and shape how a fast-growing deep-tech company operates?

At iPronics, pioneers in software-defined photonics and creators of the world’s first programmable optical switch on silicon, we’re looking for a Temporary Project Manager – SAGE ERP Implementation to lead one of the company’s most strategic initiatives: the deployment of the SAGE ERP platform. This project will improve operational efficiency, process standardization, data traceability, reporting capabilities, and business scalability.

What You’ll Do:

As our Temporary Project Manager – SAGE ERP Implementation, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving all project activities required for a successful ERP deployment. You will coordinate stakeholders, consolidate requirements, manage risks, drive validation activities, and ensure the project is delivered on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Requirements Management: Consolidate business requirements, functional specifications, features, and use cases from all departments, maintaining traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate workshops with internal stakeholders to identify business needs, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop, maintain, and drive the overall project plan, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
• Validation & Testing Leadership: Define and execute the ERP validation and acceptance strategy, ensuring all business processes are properly tested before go-live.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate interactions with the ERP vendor, implementation partners, and internal teams.
• Scope, Risk & Change Management: Manage scope changes, project risks, compliance requirements, stakeholder communications, and issue escalations when required.
• UAT, Training & Go-Live Readiness: Support user acceptance testing, training activities, deployment readiness reviews, and the transition to operational use.
• Project Governance: Track project progress and report status to management on a regular basis, acting as the primary point of contact for all ERP implementation stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project management roles.
• Proven experience leading ERP implementation projects, ideally with SAGE, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional business transformation projects.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of ERP processes, including Finance, Procurement, Operations, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Reporting.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
• Experience defining validation, testing, and user acceptance strategies.
• Experience managing project risks, compliance requirements, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong proficiency with project management methodologies and tools.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Full professional competence in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience implementing SAGE ERP solutions.
• Experience with business process mapping and process improvement initiatives.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PM², or equivalent is considered a plus.
