Project Manager (Photovoltaic Digitalization)

Smarkia is a SaaS platform that leverages Artificial Intelligence to enhance energy efficiency for over 300 customers worldwide, including Telefónica Tech and Microsoft.

With significant investment from Repsol and MN8 Energy (Goldman Sachs), Smarkia is poised for exponential growth.

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to lead integration efforts between our customer, a leading energy transition company, and Smarkia. The goal is to establish a robust real-time and AI analytics layer.

The customer requires advanced data analysis and real-time monitoring to optimize operations and improve efficiency. This role bridges technological innovation with sustainable energy practices.

The successful candidate will ensure proper implementation and operation of our energy management platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Uploading, updating, extracting, and optimizing customer energy data monitoring on the platform.
2. Gaining in-depth knowledge of the platform's functionalities and value proposition to customers.

Project Planning and Execution:

1. Develop and execute the project plan, including milestones, timelines, and resource needs.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives.
3. Manage communication and collaboration with customer, internal teams, and subcontractors.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain detailed documentation of the integration process.
2. Provide regular progress updates to senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
3. Ensure effective management of project schedules and communication with the leadership team.
4. Lead risk and opportunity management throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate project success and impact.
6. Report regularly on project progress and KPIs to stakeholders.
7. Occasional travel to the USA for client meetings or events.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
2. At least 5 years of project management experience in the photovoltaic sector.
3. Deep understanding of photovoltaic sector terminology, concepts, and standards.
4. Knowledge of electricity markets, utility tariffs, and retail energy data.
5. Experience with energy management platforms or SCADA systems is highly valued.
6. Proficiency in English (C1-C2 level) with relevant sector experience.
7. Proactive, problem-solving mindset, and strong analytical skills.
8. Team-oriented and entrepreneurial spirit.
9. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
