Responsibilities include managing the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards, and acting as the primary client liaison. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Construction Management, proven project management experience, and fluency in Spanish and English. This position is on-site in Madrid.

Turner & Townsend has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to work on pharma construction projects.

Job Objectives

1. Lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery of large, complex projects.
2. Act as the key, day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
3. Provide strategic advice at the project conception stage, including approaches to successfully achieve client objectives.
4. Establish success criteria for projects, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
5. Manage quality, safety, health, and environmental issues throughout the project.
6. Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems for use throughout the project.
7. Produce formal project progress reports and other documentation.
8. Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
9. Manage overall project costs, schedules, and budgets.
10. Manage General Contractors, vendors, and consultants.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality project management services across the full project lifecycle, with relevant sector experience (e.g., Pharma, Life Science, Industrial, Logistics, Manufacturing).
• University degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, and supportive of other groups and projects.
• Experience managing revenue, team resources, and priorities to meet client expectations.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English.
• This is an on-site position.
