GTD Defense & Security Solutions is seeking a Project Manager Intern to join its I&C area in Cadiz, San Fernando, or Puerto de Santa Maria. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support the integration of complex, safety-critical systems across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software domains.

The role focuses on learning project management fundamentals, planning, reporting, and collaboration with public administrations and international teams in a hybrid work environment.

Formación

• Understanding of project life cycle, scope, schedule and cost management.
• Ability to track pending actions and prepare status reports.
• Knowledge of Gantt charts, milestones and task dependencies.
• Strong organizational and proactive skills with problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilidades

• You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers overseeing system integration across mechanical, electrical, electronic and software levels.
• You will manage projects through the full life cycle from technical specs to verification and validation.

The role:

GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems that support all kinds of peacekeeping and search & rescue operations, from HQ to personnel on the ground, including training and simulation tools.

We are looking for a Project Manger Intern to join our I&C area in GTD Defense & Security Solutions, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety-critical applications. Position activities:

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers with a clear orientation towards the integration of systems at all levels: mechanical, electrical, electronic and at the software level; mainly land border surveillance systems and naval systems, both national and export markets and during the entire life cycle of the project, from the technical specification, design, production and verification and validation.

Your profile:

• Fundamentals of Project Management: Understanding of key concepts such as project life cycle, scope, schedule and cost management.
• Advanced Office Tools: Ability to track pending actions and prepare status reports.
• Basic Planning Skills: Knowledge of Gantt charts, milestones and task dependencies.
• Strong organizational and proactive skills, with a problem-solving mindset and ability to address issues effectively.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with public procurement and tendering processes, particularly when working with public administrations.
• International experience or experience working in multicultural environments.
• Knowledge of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Redmine, or similar tools.
