Safran - Navigation & Timing in Granada, Spain seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead R&D projects for its Optronics team. You will define schedules, monitor progress, manage costs and report to the Program Manager, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with electrical, software and systems engineering colleagues in an intercultural setting, driving risk management and project milestones across international operations.

Formación

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Good written and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of electronics, embedded software, systems engineering.
• Experience in engineering projects development: methodologies, V&V cycle, metrics, milestones, certification.
• Teamwork, organization skills and autonomy; works well in intercultural environments.
• Desirable: aeronautics/defense standards DO-254, DO-178, AC 20-152, ARINC, EASA/FAA norms.

Responsabilidades

• Define schedule and planning for our projects.
• Ensure adherence to project plan by regular follow-up and meetings.
• Financial controlling: income and expenses for every project (SAP).
• Identify risks and deviations to baseline including technical activities.
• Negotiate scope changes with stakeholders.
• Ensure development quality standards are followed by the technical team.
• Prepare product industrialization.
• Report status of projects to the Program Manager.

The Position

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a key member of our R&D team in Granada, Spain. You will be involved in the development and follow-up of projects for our Optronics team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Defining schedule and planning for our projects.
• Ensuring adherence to project plan by regular follow-up and meetings.
• Financial controlling: income and expenses for every project (SAP).
• Identifying risks and/or deviations to baseline, not only in planning and cost, but also in technical activities.
• Negotiating changes in the scope of projects with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensuring technical team stick to the development quality standards (Engineering Quality).
• Preparing Industrialization of the product.
• Reporting status of projects to the Program Manager.

What You Bring To Safran

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Good written and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following fields: Electronics, embedded software, systems engineering.
• Experience in engineering projects development: methodologies, V&V cycle, metrics, project milestones, certification.
• Passion, energy and motivation to participate in international environment.
• Capacity for teamwork, organization skills and autonomous work.
• Required experience in:
• Project Management.
• Engineering: technical background.
• Electronics.
• Teamplayer in an inter-cultural environment
• Desirable experience in:
• Aeronautics standards: DO-254, DO-178, AC 20-152, ARINC, other EASA / FAA norms.
• Optro-electronic systems and/or inertial systems.
