GMV in Madrid seeks an experienced Agile Space Project Manager to lead ground segment projects with a results-driven mindset, balancing traditional space milestones with agile delivery.

You will manage scope, schedule and budgets across complex teams, coordinate with customers and primes, and drive end-to-end mission deliveries. PMP and language skills (German, French, Italian) are a plus; hybrid work is available.

Do you want to lead a consolidated team and take on new challenges? WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

You will work in complex and multidisciplinary environments, balancing traditional space industry milestones (PDR, CDR, FAT, OSAT) with agile and incremental delivery approaches.

You will drive projects end-to-end by:

• defining mission objectives and success criteria
• aligning technical roadmaps with customer priorities
• managing scope, schedule, budget and contractual baselines
• leading trade-offs between performance, cost, risk and schedule
• coordinating incremental mission capability deliveries
• managing risks and mitigation strategies across the program lifecycle

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for candidates with experience in Project Management and Systems Engineering within the space sector, used to working in complex and multidisciplinary environments. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ECSS standards will be highly valued, as well as experience coordinating and negotiating with stakeholders and major industry primes

• Experience managing space projects in agile environments.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Clear focus on execution, delivery and results.
• Experience combining traditional space project cycles with agile methodologies.
• Proactive mindset, autonomy and decision-making capability.
• Strong communication skills with both customers and technical teams.
• PMP certification, experience in Space Operations and launchers, and professional proficiency in German, French or Italian will also be considered a strong plus.
