GMV Spain in Madrid is seeking an experienced project manager to lead a team in the space sector, focusing on navigation projects. You will manage subcontractors for satellite Ground Control Segment and ensure project compliance, technical reviews, and audits.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in project management, excellent English communication skills, and expertise in systems or engineering. A hybrid working model is offered, along with competitive compensation and benefits.

• At least 5 years of experience in project management within space or similar domains.
• Expertise in systems and HW and/or SW engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will beresponsible over severalSubcontractorswithinsatellite Ground Control Segment orNavigationProgrammes. You will manage the followingfunctions:

• Programmeconsortiums organization
• Contractualset up and workplans definition.
• Managerialand programmatic control: schedule, risks, deliverables, compliance,payments, contractual
• Technicalcontrol: support the engineering teams in the flow down of technicalrequirements and technical reviews (design, validation, etc).
• Organization and witnessing of Project reviewsand technical meetings, including progress meetings, formal reviews and audits,with the subcontractors under his/her responsibility.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

Weare looking forexperts in project management covering systems and HWand/or SW engineeringwithin space or similar domains with managementand leadership skills, and at least 5 years of experience.
Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects and excellentcommunication oral and written inEnglish.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in subcontractormanagement, knowledge of contractual management and additional languages beyondEnglish.
