Formación

• 3 a 6 años de experiencia en proyectos industriales, preferiblemente en alimentos o biotecnología.
• Fluidez en español e inglés; francés o alemán es un plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinar y supervisar equipos técnicos y contratistas para asegurar la ejecución eficiente del proyecto.
• Desarrollar cronogramas y gestionar el presupuesto asignado.

Now, we are looking for a Project Engineer in our office in Barcelona, Spain

We are looking for an engineer with experience in project management either in a client or consulting company, to participate in a wide range of project work actively, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions. The management of each project can include multiple phases and/or specialization:

1. Strategic Consulting : project master planning, conceptual engineering.
2. Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall time-schedule, procurement strategy, financial plan.
3. Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing and procurement.
4. Project realization phase : project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management.

The role of the Project Manager Engineer is to deliver to the client the more than satisfactory quality of the services within the budget and planning defined.

What is the role About?

We are looking for an engineer with experience as Project Manager with experience leading and managing industrial projects from the planning phase to final delivery.

1. Coordinate and supervise technical teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
2. Develop schedules, define milestones, and track project progress.
3. Manage the assigned budget and optimize costs without compromising quality.
4. Identify and mitigate project-related risks.
5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry regulations.
6. Present progress reports to management and propose improvement strategies.
7. Experience in permitting and procurement is an asset.
8. Notions in civil works, building utilities and process utilities.

Requirements

Who are you?

1. Education : Industrial engineer specialization in one of the following qualifications: Ind. Organization, Chemicals or Bio-Chemicals, Mechanical (and/or similar).
2. Experience : 3 to 6 years of relevant experience on industrial projects. Experience in Food and Beverages or Biotech industries is an asset.
3. Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is a must, and French or German is an asset.
4. Specific Knowledge:
   Knowledge in PC-literate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications, MS Project, AutoCAD.
5. Driver License B.
6. Key Skills:
   Analytical and problem-solving skills.
   Organization and time management.
   Multidisciplinary team management.
   Effective communication with stakeholders.
7. Location : Barcelona with availability to travel depending on project needs.
