We manufacture stacker cranes, racking systems, and conveyors, and we are integrators of automated guided vehicles (AGV / AMR). Our flagship product, the HUBMASTER System, boasts an advanced Automatic Multi-Aisle Stacker Crane, featuring innovative patented solutions for pallet and crate handling.

To strengthen our team at our Barcelona headquarters, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join us and lead the successful implementation of ASRS systems for our clients.

Job Description :

As an EPC Project Manager for our ASRS projects, you will play a key role in delivering complex automated storage and retrieval solutions to our clients. This role involves overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle from engineering and procurement to installation and commissioning, ensuring that every phase aligns with technical specifications and project goals. You will act as the central point of contact, coordinating with integrators, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to guarantee smooth project execution. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensuring that all client expectations are met with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Expertise in project management, automation technologies, and warehouse operations is essential, as is the ability to balance multiple projects with a strong focus on timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Planning : Create comprehensive project plans that detail scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Client Communication : Serve as the primary contact for clients, promptly addressing inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordination : Collaborate with internal departments to manage the delivery and installation of automation products.
• Monitoring Progress : Track project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet objectives.
• Procurement : Work with the purchasing team to source materials and negotiate with subcontractors.
• Installation Oversight : Supervise the installation of HUBMASTER products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Team Coordination : Organise the activities of engineers and developers to facilitate project success.
• Reporting : Prepare regular project status reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Travel : Travel as needed within the US, Canada, and overseas to support project implementation.
• Cost Management : Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Permits : Obtain necessary permits for installations to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Site Visits : Conduct site visits for data measurements, onsite surveys, and engineering drawings as needed.
• Software Management : Oversee the implementation of warehouse control software.

Minimum Requirements :

• Individual who is passionate, self-driven, takes initiative, and committed.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in automation or material handling systems.
• Office work will be provided in addition to needing to travel 20-30% of the time.
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of automation technologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools and MS Office Suite.
• Travelling to client sites as needed will be required.
• Legal authorisation to work in Spain.
• Exceptional communication and customer service expertise, combined with the capacity to lead confidently and decisively.
• Robust organisational and leadership capabilities, enabling adept prioritisation and concurrent management of multiple projects involving diverse teams.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
