Job description

The site manager is accountable for carrying out on-site monitoring of the correct execution of the project/work, as well as compliance with the requirements and/or conditions imposed on the materials and services provided by suppliers. Identifying incidents, proposing and taking actions in cooperation with the Construction Site Manager to ensure the quality of the project.

Is accountable for supporting the Industrial Project Manager to guarantee the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators of the project during construction.

Profile description

1. Ensure the construction phase is on schedule and respecting the budget.
2. Support the Industrial Project Manager to evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
3. Ensure that the technical solutions proposed by the EPCm contractor are adequate and meet the quality requirements.
4. Control the execution of the work and prepare the progress site reports of work.
5. Ensure compliance with the specifications, deadlines, costs and quality.
6. Diagnose possible problems and propose potential mitigating solutions.
7. Participate in the improvement of the project margin.
8. Participate in the main supplier meetings and EPCm contractor meetings.
9. Participate in operational coordination meetings during the construction phase.
10. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
11. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with cross-functional interfaces.
12. Strong communication skills.
13. Spanish is mandatory, English and/or French is a plus.
