Project Manager {#project-manager} As a Project Manager at DKL, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of assigned projects. Your goal will be to ensure that these projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and communicate project progress to stakeholders and senior management.

What’s the Role? As a Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards. You will bring a diverse skill set that includes a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, best practices in project management, and product development processes. Your responsibilities will involve defining and prioritizing product backlogs, developing project plans and schedules, managing resources, and facilitating Scrum events. You must effectively balance competing priorities to ensure that the product is delivered on time and meets customer needs. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to : Guarantee a smooth development of every project and resolve any obstacles relating to task completion or resource allocation Contribute to estimates, plan ahead, and go through new project proposals. Perform risk management to minimize any possible hazards. Recognize and address technical obstacles. Guide, mentor, advise, and facilitate the growth of project team members. Continuously monitor project progress and produce comprehensive scheduled reports on measurable elements such as deliverables and milestones. Create and sustain connections with all pertinent stakeholders and departments within the organization. Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to achieve the best results.

How will you work? You will be an integral part of the project management team at DKL, driving initiatives forward with a focus on collaboration and efficiency.

You will meet daily with the team online and work remotely. Your day-to-day will be with the Project Manager Lead. The rest of the team will always be ready to help if needed.

We organize ourselves using the Google Suite (Gmail, meets, docs, …), Slack, and GitHub for code repositories. We also use Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence) for project management, ticket management, and project documentation.

Who will you work with? You will collaborate closely with the development team on the projects you lead, ensuring effective coordination and execution.

You will report directly to the Project Manager Lead, who will guide and support you. In addition to managing your own team, you will also collaborate with leads from other departments, such as Backend, Data, DevOps, and Frontend, ensuring alignment across teams. You'll regularly communicate project updates, challenges, and recommendations to senior management to keep everyone on the same page.

Requirements 3+ years in project management within tech or data-driven environments Fluency in English is a must Skilled in stakeholder and client relationship management Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-team collaboration Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to assess project needs and implement appropriate actions Adaptable and flexible in dynamic environments Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies Basic technical understanding of data analytics, software development, or cloud environments

Desired Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Project Management Certification (PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent) Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Taiga, Asana)

What will the First 6 Months be Like? Your first six months will be structured to support your learning, integration, and progression as you settle into your role. This period aligns with our review checkpoints at 1, 3, and 6 months, ensuring you have a clear pathway to success during your probation period.

Month 1 : Your first month will focus on onboarding and getting grounded in our processes, projects, and team dynamics. You’ll have access to comprehensive training, meet key team members, and begin familiarizing yourself with our project management tools. This phase is all about setting a strong foundation. At the end of the month, we'll review your initial experience, answer any questions, and ensure you feel well-supported.

Month 2-3 : By month three, you’ll start taking on defined responsibilities within projects, working more closely with your team to set timelines, allocate resources, and coordinate communication. During this phase, you’ll begin managing your own smaller projects or tasks within larger projects, getting hands-on experience while building confidence. A three-month review will give you a chance to discuss your progress, address challenges, and outline areas for development as you deepen your role.

Month 4-6 : With solid experience, you’ll be ready to lead your own projects more independently by month four. During these months, you’ll focus on overseeing end-to-end project delivery, refining your skills, and driving results. The six-month review will serve as a checkpoint to assess your overall progress, achievements, and long-term fit within the team, marking the end of the probation period and setting future goals if you’re ready to move forward.
