Formación

  • Al menos 2 años de experiencia en gestión de proyectos en la industria de automatización.
  • Inglés escrito y hablado, alemán es un plus.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en equipo y fuerte orientación a resultados.

Responsabilidades

  • Preparar propuestas técnicas y estimar costos asociados.
  • Desarrollar planes de proyecto comprensivos y colaborar con las partes interesadas.

About Btech:

Eisenmann Ingeniería, part of the Btech (Barcelona Technical Center) business group, specializes in the design and construction of automated painting facilities, turnkey projects, for the automotive, industrial, logistics, and aerospace sectors. It has commercial and collaboration agreements with Eisenmann GmbH (Germany).

At Btech we are in time of growth for and we are looking for a Project Manager. It will be responsible for preparing project bids (scope, cost, time, and resources), as well as planning, executing, and delivering projects won in the aftermarket for major clients in the automotive sector. What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • A Master's degree in Project Management and/or PMP certification will be a plus.
  • At least 2 years of proven project management experience within the automation industry, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Experience with paint lines, heat exchangers, and ovens will be a plus.
  • Experience in an after-sales department will be a plus.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and spoken English. Fluency in German will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A decisive, organized, and results-oriented individual with planning skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • The candidate will have knowledge of project management, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of industrial machinery and process automation.

What functions are you going to develop?

1) Bidding:

  • Study client needs and project requirements
  • Prepare technical proposals to meet client needs with the assistance of the technical team.
  • Estimate costs associated with technical proposals and propose project bidding schedules.

2) Project Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and required resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

3) Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Allocate resources and coordinate the efforts of team members to achieve project objectives.

4) Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Proactively address challenges to keep projects on track and within budget.

5) Client Interaction:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded through effective communication and execution.
  • Identify new business opportunities.

6) Quality Control:

  • Implement and apply quality control processes to ensure the delivery of functional and robust solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive project reviews to identify areas for improvement.

7) Budget Management:

  • Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to report on the project's financial status.

8) Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

9) Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to optimize processes and project management efficiency.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for the development of new automation technologies.
