Job summary

Catenon is seeking a Sr. Tendering Engineer in Barcelona to provide technical support to sales teams and analyze product configurations for customer pricing. The role requires independent work with general supervision and strong technical and commercial acumen.

The ideal candidate has a relevant engineering degree and 3–4 years of experience in tendering or technical sales, plus fluent English for international collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Industrial Engineering or Electrical Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in tendering or technical sales.
• Experience in the Sulzer sector (water treatment).
• Fluent English with connection to headquarters in Sweden.

Job description

The Sr. Tendering Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific pricing. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• University degree (Ingeniería Medioambiental; Ingeniería Industrial mecánica; Ingeniería industrial eléctrica) or equivalent work experience and at least 3–4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role
• Experience required in Sulzer sector (water treatment).
• Technical and commercial acumen.
• Experience in tendering or technical sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals.
• English: It's essential a fluent knowledge of English (lots of connection with the headquarters in Sweden).
