A global chemical company is looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage cross-product line projects. This position requires a university degree in Chemistry or related fields, ideally a Master's or PhD. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating between various departments. Strong knowledge of colloidal chemistry, nanotechnology, and project management software is essential, along with fluency in English and Spanish. This role is based in Barcelona, Spain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing cross-product line projects from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met while maintaining a high level of quality. In this position, the candidate will coordinate different departments (Applied Innovation, production) between various business units of the Company in strategic projects, ensuring effective collaboration and good communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, preferably in a research and development setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Develop project plans and schedules, and monitor progress against them.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, including Applied Innovation, regulatory, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Identify and manage project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology or related areas; Master or preferably PhD, technicians with Bachelor's level and >5 years of job experience considered under certain circumstances.
• Profound knowledge of colloidal chemistry and nanotechnology, preferably in the research and production of delivery systems and surfactants.
• Profound knowledge of lab and production scale equipment and its use for production of emulsions and delivery system technologies and products.
• Profound knowledge of cosmetic and pharmaceutical delivery system technologies.
• Profound knowledge of cosmetics applications, cosmetic actives and personal care considered a plus.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working with intercultural and cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of project management software and tools.
