We are the 100% digital bank of the Santander Group and we are currently undergoing a technological transformation and international expansion process. In 2017, we kicked off our relaunch plans and have been continuously expanding and growing ever since, especially when it comes to technology. We work in a start-up format, using agile methodologies to take our customers' experience to the next level. In 2019, we launched in the Netherlands, Germany and Portugal, with other countries currently in the pipeline.

We are a flexible and fast adapting team currently working remotely most of the time using all kinds of communication tools – we’ve barely noticed the change!

Mission and Responsibilities:

• In the Openbank Core team, we are building our own backend solution using mostly open technologies like Java 21 or SpringBoot 3 and a small part of the functionality we cover with tools like SAPGL.
• We are looking for someone to join our team bringing SAP knowledge (ideally GL or ABAP experience) but who wants to be developing most of the time in Java.
• This role will therefore consist of modelling all of our accounting functionality that feeds into different systems and generates a consolidated view for the group's banks.
• You will be part of the Core development team and will work with the finance area.

To be successful in the role you must have:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in SAP GL.
• Advanced English and Spanish level.
• Autonomy, as the individual will have to decide how we will address the requirements.
