Position Overview

This position reports to the Finance Manager and is based in Spain. You will support local controlling activities, ensuring accurate control and reporting of projects and financial statements, and analyze financial impacts to maintain key KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly reporting process within the Controlling team
• Monitor projects and business development, proposing adjustments as needed
• Lead financial discussions in internal project reviews
• Coordinate and follow up on overdue issues
• Analyze warehouse data to support operational decisions
• Manage cash flow and Net Working Capital
• Analyze order backlog, sales, and profitability variations
• Ensure compliance with authorities' financial reporting requirements and support audits
• Control reinvoicing of costs to other entities

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields
• 2-3 years of experience in controlling or financial reporting
• Based in Barcelona with willingness to travel up to 25% to Bilbao
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to reporting schedules
• Proactive with strong communication skills and process improvement mindset
• Experience with SAP (knowledge of SAP S / 4Hana is a plus)
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI and AI tools is desirable
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous
