A leading engineering firm in Spain seeks a Project Coordinator to support project management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include assisting with on-site management, ensuring project timelines are met, and handling documentation processes. This role offers flexible hours and one remote work day per week.

Formación

• 2-3 years' experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager.
• Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with regulations and performance standards.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet deadlines.
• Responsible for RFI/RFQ and submittal process.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project success
• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines
• Responsible for RFI/RFQ and submittal process
• Visit suppliers and follow up during manufacturing phase
• Assist project managers during the installation/commissioning at the end customer's site
• Open to the possibility to travel 30% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2 - 3 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
• Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in French
