About the Role

The Project Engineer supports the Programme Manager in delivering safe, on-schedule, and on-budget maintenance projects within transactional service programs in the Netherlands.

  • Provide support to Site Management and oversee site-based work at power plants.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing internal stakeholders to meet contractual and customer requirements.
What will you do in the role
  • Serve as the main contact point for Mitsubishi Power with customers and represent the customer within Mitsubishi Power.
  • Manage all aspects of onsite operations and outages, coordinating responsibilities for each project.
  • Handle daily customer interactions and resolve technical and commercial issues.
  • Support outage planning, including scope definition, workload planning, and post-outage activities.
  • Assist with project commercial processes, such as quotations and cost estimations.
  • Provide initial technical support during unplanned maintenance events.
  • Support reliability programs and investigate component issues.
  • Lead QHSE efforts on each project, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
  • Promote continuous improvement in QHSE during operations and outages.
Key Skills and Experience
  • University degree or similar in Engineering, with a solid understanding of thermodynamics and power generation.
  • Experience in power generation or heavy industry; project management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Commercial acumen, numeracy, and diplomacy.
  • Fluency in English.
