K-LAGAN is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead industrial automation projects for automotive OEMs. You will manage production line implementations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and drive projects from quotation through commissioning and handover.

You will join an international engineering environment delivering high-value automated manufacturing solutions, with opportunities for travel, growth, and exposure to national and international technology projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing industrial automation or production line installation projects.
• Experience delivering projects for automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Experience managing complete project lifecycles from RFQ to commissioning and final acceptance.
• Strong customer-facing and coordination skills.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to lead the execution of industrial automation projects for leading automotive manufacturers (OEMs). The role involves managing complete production line implementation projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and customers from the initial quotation phase through final commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage industrial automation projects from RFQ (Request for Quotation) through engineering, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final customer acceptance.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams and external suppliers to ensure project milestones, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.
• Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
• Monitor project risks and implement mitigation actions when required.
• Coordinate equipment installation, production line integration, and commissioning activities.
• Support technical discussions with customers regarding project requirements and engineering solutions.
• Manage project reporting, change requests, and stakeholder communication.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, safety standards, and project documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing industrial automation or production line installation projects.
• - Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and KPIs.
• Proven experience delivering projects for automotive OEMs (such as Toyota, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Volkswagen, Stellantis, etc.) or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Experience managing complete project lifecycles, from RFQ to commissioning and final acceptance.
• Strong understanding of automated production lines, industrial machinery, robotics, conveyors, assembly systems, and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience coordinating suppliers, installation teams, and multidisciplinary engineering departments.
• Strong customer-facing skills with experience managing technical and commercial discussions.
• Availability to travel to customer sites when required.
