At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join the Cost Reduction team based in Valencia, Hannover, or Wolfsburg.

Main Functions :

Technical Knowledge :

• Design and development of automotive systems (interior, exterior bodywork, and electricity)
• Use of 3D modeling software and CAD tools
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes in the automotive sector
• Cost estimation and control
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen
• Implementation of techniques such as SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) and standard work
• Process optimization and design of efficient production lines

Analytical Skills :

• Ability to analyze product data and feedback from final and internal customers
• Evaluation and testing of current vehicle components
• Knowledge of techniques for solving complex problems

Management and Communication Skills :

• Leadership and teamwork
• Ability to collaborate with different departments and client stakeholders
• Preparation of technical reports and presentations for clients

Sustainability Knowledge :

• Understanding of Environmental, Social, and Legal criteria
• Development of strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions
• Staying up-to-date with trends and technologies in the automotive sector
• Adaptability to new cost-reduction methods and tools

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar position
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: industrial, mechanical, design, or similar
• Fluent in English and proficient in German
• Travel availability is required
