Our mission is to drive the transition to a sustainable energy future, and we are expanding our team in Madrid to support our growing portfolio of projects.

Job Summary:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of solar and BESS projects throughout the project lifecycle. This includes design, planning, implementation, and commissioning of systems. You will work closely with the project management team, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project execution within time, budget, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Design & Development:
  
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop comprehensive solar and BESS system designs.
    
  • Perform site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield calculations.
    
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and safety requirements.
    
• Project Planning & Coordination:
  
  • Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, scope of work, and project schedules.
    
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, construction, and operations.
    
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues during the project lifecycle.
    
• Construction & Implementation:
  
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of solar and BESS systems.
    
  • Provide technical support to the construction team, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
    
  • Monitor project progress and quality control, conducting site inspections as needed.
    
• Stakeholder Management:
  
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project objectives.
    
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations to stakeholders.
    
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  
  • Ensure that all engineering activities meet industry best practices and quality standards.
    
  • Conduct performance testing and validation of systems after installation.
    

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  
• Experience:
  
  • 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the solar and/or BESS sector.
    
  • Proven track record in managing the technical aspects of renewable energy projects.
    
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Proficiency in PV system design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, etc.).
    
  • Familiarity with energy storage systems and grid interconnection requirements.
    
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and power systems.
    
• Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English.
  
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management or renewable energy (e.g., PMP, CEM) are a plus.
