Envision Energy is seeking a Project Director to lead end-to-end delivery of BESS and Wind projects in Madrid, ensuring safety and successful execution from planning through closeout. You will manage risks, contracts, and multi-country stakeholders to align with strategic goals.

The role requires strong leadership, deep experience in EPC/EPCM models, and a solid engineering background. You will report to senior management and drive performance across teams and external partners.

Formación

• Significant experience directing large-scale energy infrastructure projects, ideally in wind and/or BESS (utility-scale preferred).
• Strong knowledge of project delivery models (EPC/EPCM/multi-contract), contract management, and project controls.
• Proven leadership of multi-country or complex stakeholder projects; strong communication and executive-level influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Own overall project delivery governance and performance (HSE, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and claims).
• Lead and coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners across multiple disciplines and geographies.
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and executive reporting; establish decision-making and escalation mechanisms.
• Manage contracts and commercial execution including change orders, payment milestones, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure technical alignment and delivery readiness for BESS and Wind systems (grid connection requirements, commissioning plans, performance guarantees, and acceptance criteria).
• Proactively manage project risks and opportunities; implement mitigation plans and lessons learned across the portfolio.

Role Summary

The Project Director is responsible for the project end-to-end, leading overall execution and delivery for BESS and Wind projects. The role ensures the project is delivered safely and successfully, managing key risks, contractual commitments, and stakeholder alignment through to commissioning, acceptance, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Own overall project delivery governance and performance (HSE, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and claims).
• Lead and coordinate internal stakeholders (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction, commissioning, grid, quality, finance, legal, and service) and external partners (customers, EPCs, contractors, OEMs, utilities, and authorities).
• Drive project planning, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and executive reporting; establish clear decision-making and escalation mechanisms.
• Manage contracts and commercial execution including change orders, payment milestones, claims, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure technical alignment and delivery readiness for BESS and Wind systems (grid connection requirements, commissioning plans, performance guarantees, and acceptance criteria).
