Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Project Manager for renewable energy projects in Madrid. The role involves coordinating tenders, reviewing technical drawings, and supervising external suppliers to ensure timely, compliant construction of BESS plants.

The ideal candidate has an engineering background, 5+ years in renewable energy or power projects, and PM credentials. You will travel to sites and collaborate with internal teams to drive successful project delivery.

Formación

• Engineering degree required or preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy or power projects.
• PM qualifications such as PMP/Prince2 are a plus.
• Experience with construction documentation and permitting processes.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate in tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements and contract discussions.
• Understand project design drawings and participate in discussions with internal staff and BOS/BOP Contractors.
• Supervise the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers.
• Assist in definition, preparation and control of documentation to start construction of renewable energy projects on time.
• Travel to construction sites regularly and monitor progress, offering solution approaches for construction matters and schedule mitigation.
• Support Procurement to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedures for external suppliers.
• Schedule project steps to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective construction of BESS plants.
• Ensure all permitting parameters are followed during construction.
• Report project status, propose solutions, and flag risks to the Construction Manager and Director.
• Coordinate information flow with public institutions and SPV, and between Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
• Monitor CAPEX during construction phase.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the tendering processes (RFQ/RFP) in technical requirements, contract discussions.
• Good understanding of project design drawings and able to participate in discussions with internal staff and BOS/BOP Contractors.
• Supervises the quality of services and products provided by external suppliers.
• Support in the definition, preparation and control the documentation to be able to start timely a construction of the renewable energy project.
• Travels to Construction Sites regularly, follows construction progress and provides solutions for construction matters & schedule mitigation.
• Supports Procurement to prepare technical documentation and scope for bidding procedure for external suppliers.
• Schedules project steps and works to achieve the most efficient, timely and cost-effective construction of BESS plants.
• Ensures all Permitting parameters are followed during the construction phase.
• Reports project status, recommends solutions and informs about potential risks to the Construction Manager & Director.
• Manages and supervises payments approvals and proper documentation preparation to obtain use permit accordingly to project plan.
• Coordinates information flow between the Company and public institutions e.g.: Municipality, and Public Institutions in project scope and on behalf of SPV.
• Coordinates internal information flow within Development Team, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, Tax, HSE & Quality.
• CAPEX monitoring during construction phase.

Requirements

• Engineering background (preferable Electrical Engineer).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Renewable Energy projects (preferably BESS) and/or other Power related field.
• PMP, Prince2 or other Project Management course is a plus.
• Experience in working with Auto cad, MS Project, MS Office.
• Organisational, teamwork and reporting skills.
• English professional level & 1 additional language is a plus.
• Willingness to absorb new knowledge and perform under pressure is a must.
